Red cloth with gilt lettering on the spine and front board along with gilt decorative vignettes, foxes mask, brush and horn on the spine, hounds head and whip on the front board. Two pages of adverts at the front of the book, xxii, 471 pages. Illustrated with thirty-two portraits. 6 X 9 inches. Some browning to the endpapers slightly rubbed and with the spine a little faded. Owner’s name in ink at the top of the endpaper (1899). Rough cut page edges. A sound copy.
