Original dark blue cloth, gilt on white cloth lettering piece. Very neatly written previous ownership inscription in pencil to front free endpaper. Minimal light foxing to top edge, otherwise near fine without dust-jacket.
Edith Somerville and Violet Florence Martin, writing under the name Martin Ross, were an Anglo-Irish writing team.
