First edition, 1946. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. VG condition; boards clean, bright and lightly rubbed, bumps to corners and spine, faint foxing to fore edges, pages lightly tanned but clean and tightly bound with Good condition unclipped dust jacket; minor edgewear and some marks and chips, sunned to spine in protective plastic wrap. The dustwrapper, based on a concert ticket by Hogarth is by Joan Hassell.
